Weekly Update

Howdy Pardner's,

We just wanted to say thanks to all of you that still keep up with us. As you can see, we have spruced up the blog a little. Well, all of our friends have blogs too, and theirs made ours look pretty bad. I admit, we had not changed things up in quite awhile. So Amy and I made some changes, and have a little more to do, but we both think it looks better, for now.

We also wanted those of our faithful readers to check out our friends blogs as well when they get a chance. There are links on the right side of the page. We apologize to the few that we do not have a link for that we should, but the link's escaped our mind at the time blog update. Soooo....send us the link's and we will add them.

Here are a plethera of pictures for all of y'all to enjoy.

Healthy Heart!

Maddox got a clean bill of health from Dr. Tripp today. He does not have to return to the cardiologist until this time next year. The echo cardiogram showed a healthy heart.

We are still in the process of the vision assessment. We do know Maddox has wide range of functional vision. His left eye is stronger than his right eye. A visit to the eye doctor is coming up soon.

Health Update

Soap Face Santa Moo

Maddie is now receiving services from the Governor Morehead Preshool Program. The goal of the Preschool Program is to help children with visual impairments gain skills and self-confidence. It is a community based service so the teacher comes into our home each week. Maddie is in the process of a Functional Vision Assessment. The results of this assessment will help us focus on environmental adaptations to teach Moo to be as independent and successful as possible.

Wednesday May 14th will be a big day for Mr. Moo~ this will be his first echo cardiogram in six months. We envision clear veins running to and from his heart!

Dr. April is a blessing to Maddie Moo. She is his chiropractor. Yes, chiropractor. Maddie has an adjustment each week to aid in his bowel movements. It works!

Trying to get a drink of water~
