First Day of School!

Maddie started school at the Child Care Center of First Presbyterian Church. Maddie joins the class with friends from our church and his previous teacher from Asheville Arts Center, Ms. Mandy. Maddie's teacher from Asheville City Schools, Ms. Sharon, Governor Morehead Preschool Teacher, Ms. Kathy and his physical therapist, Ms. Margaret all worked with the staff last week at CCC to prepare for Maddie's arrival.

Maddie's first day was amazing! He walked in and never looked back. First Maddie had to show Ms. Mandy what was in his backpack, then Anna took him to get a fireman's hat. CCC serves lunch (all organic foods!) but Maddie refused to eat (with a polite, 'no thank you'). He did report drinking his cows milk. At nap time Maddie was quite ~ which is more than a miracle~ but did not sleep. He loves the classroom, meeting new friends and especially the playground!

We are blessed with wonderful teachers/services from ACS and now the new teachers at CCC.
