Maddie now has his own service plan. The Children's Developmental Service Agency have been working with us to coordinate services for Maddie.
Maddie will soon begin receiving physical therapy to help improve his gross motor skills. How Maddie uses his large muscles to move is somewhat delayed. Maddie is not yet pulling up or taking steps. He is very cautious when moving on the floor due to his vision.
Our visit to the Ophthalmologist this week was positive. There is damage to Maddie's optic nerves (we knew this from the MRI), it appears the right eye is more damaged than the left. Maddie's eyes are still developing so all we can do is wait. We do not have to return for eight months. Maddie does not have to wear glasses yet. We are thankful!
Visits to Dr. April (chiropractor) and prunes are eliminating constipation problems. This results in one happy boy!
Maddie is over the top on the social-emotional scale! No concerns there!

Maddox is so cute. I can't believe he will be 1 year in 6 full days. Holy Moly!! What a big handsome boy he's become!
