Maddie had a tough week, starting with vomiting last Sunday morning, then cough and fever Monday and Tuesday, ending with a visit to the pediatrician on Friday~ result - a cold and ear infection. The good news is Maddie has gained 3 pounds since the last doctors visit and it is Saturday night and the cough no longer requires medicine.
We took a short trip to the Blue Ridge Roller Derby this afternoon because mommies good friends and colleagues were performing during the pre-game and half time shows. Maddie enjoyed meeting the band and seeing the 'big' drum set but he was adamant that it was all 'too loud' to be enjoyed.
Sorry about the size of the pictures - Maddie played 'cars and fire rescue' instead of trying to watch the show.
