Just call me the Gene Simmons of all the Cardiac Kids!!!

It is official, Maddie is a rock star. I could not have asked for a better check-up than he got today.

Here is a list of all the things that went good today:
- He weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz. (This is the official weight too)
- He has grown an inch (He is now almost 1/3 the height of his dad)
- His head has grown 3/4 of an inch
- His blood oxygen was at 98% (His level was in the low 70's before the surgery)
- He had an echo-cardiogram and the Dr. said that everything looked great
- The Dr. said that Maddox is in the top 2 or 3 that she has ever seen with his type condition (that is saying something because she ain't no spring chicken)
- She also said that he now looks like a regular baby instead of a survivor
- She also said that she is very excited for us because he could have taken a different direction after the surgery
- He is doing so good that we do not go back to visit her for 6 weeks.
- We do not have to necessarily have to avoid crowds (like churches) anymore, but we still have to be careful and not pass him around

- Wait, there was nothing!

Amy and I were very, VERY happy with the results of today.

I would also like to say Thanks to Betty Gilliam. Today was her last day at work at my office. She has made the transition to the insurance world alot more easier for me. I wish her the best of luck in her new endeavors. Thank you so much Betty for all of your help and friendship.
