12:30 - Day 3(ish)

Hello everyone,

Amy and I are pleased to announce that Maddox does not have to have surgery tomorrow. After the doctor's analyzed the cath results, they found that there is no blockage and that he is fine for the time being.

They are wanting him to put on a few more pounds before they perform the surgery. The surgery will most likely be within the next 4 to 8 weeks.

They are going to move him out of the Intensive Care Unit and move him to a step-down room. Depending on how he does over the next few days, he might actually get to come home while we wait for the surgery.

Amy and I are thrilled with all of this news. Especially with the fact that we might get to finally take him home.

We want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers b/c the Lord answered all of them today.

We are realistic that this is not all over yet, but it takes us one step closer to having him (and us) lead a normal life.
