Maddox had a few seizures (what they thought were seizures)last night. The doctor ordered a lumbar puncture, resulting in no infection (great news). There was no seizure activity again until around 9:30 this morning. Maddox then had an EEG, no real explanation came from this. A neurologist is now involved, ordering a MRI for later today.
Good news is ~
Maddox is not having a 'typical' seizure. They told us it may just be him jerking when he sleeps (some babies do this, it goes away and causes no harm; this also has a medical name, which I do not remember at this time). His health has not been compromised by the 'seizures'. His oxygen levels, blood pressure etc. have been maintained throughout.
We will know more answers once Maddox has the MRI.

We are continuing to pray for little Maddox! Our son, Layton, had some focal seizures (just kind of moving his arm) after his heart surgery, which they said just happens sometimes after being on the bypass machine. He was on phenobarbitol for a few months, and then weaned off. We're praying that your little guy keeps taking those baby steps toward home!
